被动式房屋,是基于被动式设计而建造的节能建筑物。被动式节能屋不需要主动加热,基本上是依靠被动受挤来得热量将室内调解到人体最舒适的温度,使用太阳,人体,家电及热回收掌指等带来的热能,不需要主动热源的供给。 在19世纪70年代,建筑师和科学家就开始研究零耗能的房屋,尽管理论上可行,但由于其极高的造价和复杂的工艺,因而一直停留在科研项目层面。被动式房屋的几大特点:
1. 外围护结构的保温层特别厚。目前市场上的外墙厚度一般为150mm, 而Modulus Luxury 的外墙为350mm
2. 超级节能窗。Modulus Luxury采用10.38mm层压玻璃12mm气隙 6mm玻璃作为双层玻璃,加上声学工程师推荐并设计的热涂层。

3. 建筑结构无热桥。混凝土材料比起砌墙材料有较好的热传导性,冷热空气频繁接触,前提保温层导热不均,产生热桥效应,造成房屋内墙发霉甚至漏水。Modulus Luxury的无热桥建筑结构可避免上述现象的发生。

4. 主动通风(逆流空气/空气热交换)换气系统。既提供高质量的空气,同时利用排废气余热的至少75%对抽进的新风加热,避免废气和新鲜空气的混合,大大优化室内空气质量。

Modulus Luxury以地热空调替代了中央空调系统,通过安装在地下80米处的低温收集器,从土壤中吸收地球本身能量,经过能量转化实现空调调节功能。便宜又清洁的能源对人体健康的益处是毋庸置疑的,避免了中央空调对人体的损害。
